Central Susquehanna Healthcare Providers (CSHP) is a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) owned by Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.  CSHP established it's network of providers by creating contractual arrangements with both primary care physicians (family medicine physicians; internal medicine physicians; and general internal medicine physicians) and specialists that meet the quality criteria and guidelines established by the organization.

As a result, CSHP has created the most comprehensive network in the area which it then markets to employer groups; brokers; TPA's; and other payor partners.  Employer groups have the ability to inform their broker, if applicable, that they would like a health care plan provided to their employees that includes the CSHP network of providers.  The broker will then work with payors and carriers that will develop an insurance product around our comprehensive network.  If an employer group does not currently work with a broker, the group can contact the CSHP office at 866.890.CSHP to request that we work directly with our payor partners to establish a product on their behalf.  For a comprehensive list of our payor partners, go to the "For Employers" page on this website and click on "Payor Partners."

CSHP goes above and beyond other PPO entities in that we have established delegated physician credentialing arrangements with several managed care entities.  What this means is that managed care entities such as Capital Blue Cross, CIGNA, Devon, Geisinger Heatlh Plan, Intergroup, MDI, Naphcare, Keystone Health Plan Central and Today's Options have determined that CSHP's credentialing program meets or exceeds their standards and guidelines and as a result, will allow CSHP to conduct the physician credentialing process on their behalf.  This results in a quicker credentialing process for our physicians.

CSHP also conveys a service-oriented environment based on excellence through its comprehensive claims investigation and resolution process.  Employer groups, payor partners and physician offices may contact the CSHP office at 866.890.CSHP to alert us of any claims issues.  We will then conduct the investigation and resolve the claim on your behalf.
